Nell Patton Williams age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Nell was born in Galax, Virginia on February 10, 1947 to Arthur and Susie Bartlett Patton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Williams.
She is survived by her daughter Michele Redd of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Tom and Laura Williams of Lafayette, Colorado; grandchildren and spouse Emily and Christopher Carico; Elise Williams; sisters and brother-in-law Wilma Showalter; Millie and Eugene Bullins all of Galax, Virginia; Hazel Montgomery of Ohio; Odell Hall of Salem, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Junior and Betty Jewell Patton of Galax, Virginia; Frank and Mary Rose Patton of Bennettsville, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 29,2016 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ with Marvin Williams and Lawrence Warden officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ.
