Naomi Joeletta Michelle McKinney, age 36 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday July 26, 2024 at Duke University Hospital.

Naomi was born on December 5, 1987, in Galax, Virginia to Joe Gambill and Dorothy Ann McKinney. She was preceded in death by her sister Dimica McKinney.

She is survived by her daughters Jahzara McKinney of Charlotte, North Carolina; Jahneimah McKinney of Galax, Virginia; son Jahzekiel McKinney of Galax, Virginia; siblings Nichole McKinney of Charlotte, North Carolina; Tasha Cottrell of Galax, Virginia; Joe Cottrell of Galax, Virginia; Tishera Tucker of Galax, Virginia; Jomarian Gambill; Leigha Atkins; Shakyra Gambill; Maya Atkins; Vania Ticker all of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Shana McKinney; close friend Jenny Lynn; close cousin Savannah Parsons; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Bishop Sidney Beamer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
