Nannie Helen Sizemore's Obituary
Nannie Helen Bowman Sizemore age 94 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in the Golden Living Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Sizemore was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 7, 1921 to W. Erb and S. May Beasley Bowman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy B. Sizemore, son Steven V. Sizemore, daughter Lynn Sizemore and sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Barbara Sizemore of Christiansburg, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Carimae and Paul Sutphin; Camela Gathercole; great-grandchildren Ava Rhodes and Carmen Sutphin; several nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Beasley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the First Baptist Church.
