Nancy Ward Summers' Obituary
The Following Is A Courtesy Announcement.
Nancy Ward Summers age 70 passed away peacefully at her home in Morattico on June 7, 2012. After 22 years of service she retired as business manager of Billy Martin's Carriage House and Martin's Tavern in Georgetown, Washington, DC.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years Robert L. Summers; two brothers, Bobby Ward of Murrells Inlet, S.C. and Jack Higgins of Germantown, Maryland; two uncles Dale Hampton of Galax, Va. and E.C. Hampton of Walkertown, N.C.; a niece Marci Ward of Alexandria, Va. and two great nephews.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 13th at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Virginia, P.O. Box 2098, Tappahannock, Virginia 22560.
