Nancy Ann Rector's Obituary
Nancy Ann Rector, age 78, Galax, VA passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem, NC.
Mrs. Rector was born Aug. 28, 1935 in Grayson County, VA to Larry & Mattie Blanche Widner Dickson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Dickson.
She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Rector of the home; daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Ricky Hall, Woodlawn, VA; sons & daughters-in-law Mike & Debbie Beamer, Galax, VA and Charlie & Carolyn Beamer, Woodlawn, VA; step-son, Marty Rector, Galax, VA; sisters, Faye Winebach, Portland, Maine and Phyllis Snow, Hillsville, VA, Donnie Vitter, Woodstock, GA; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax, VA, at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax, VA. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. John Grimm and the Rev. Kevin Fiorini.
