Nancy Sarah Jones, 81, of Ellicott City, Maryland

Nancy Jones, passed away at home surrounded by family on November 1, 2024.

Nancy was born in Baltimore, MD to Jack and Geraldine Leasher.  Nancy married the love of her life, Robert Emmett Jones III (Bob) in 1971. They spent many years moving from place to place with Bob's job and Nancy loved the adventure that each new place brought.  Nancy's life was marked by her deep commitment to her family.  Nothing made her happier than spending time with those she loved.  Nancy also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and traveling.   She especially loved the holidays and special occasions when she could decorate her beautiful home, prepare special dishes and visit with her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Bob,  her sister Jackie O'Byrne, her daughter Kristen Mangus (Tim),  twin sons, Rob Jones and Ryan Jones (Joanna) and a granddaughter.

There will be a visitation at Vaughan Guynn Funeral Home on Friday, November 29th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be Saturday November 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Fries, Virginia with Pastor Ricky Bedwell officiating .
