Nancy Helen Joines' Obituary
Nancy Helen Joines age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Carilion New River Valley Hospital.
Mrs. Joines was born on September 10, 1921 in Carroll County, Virginia to Kelly & Leona Amburn Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Murrell Clayton Joines and son Jerry Mack Joines.
She is survived by her granddaughters & spouse Angela & Todd Dillon of Galax, Va.; Cyndee Joines of Elk Creek, Va.; six great-grandchildren; sisters Arlene Crouse & Mary Delp both of Galax, Va.; Edna Beck of Bastrop, Texas; several nieces & nephews; special friend Eda Moxley.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel wirh Rev. Rick Linamood officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vale U.M. Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from one until service time.
