Nancy Carol Galyean age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Galyean was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 28,1937 to Dean and Bessie Haga Hash.

She is survived by her husband Lynwood Don (L.D.) Galyean; daughters and sons-in-law Susie and Charles Ward; Mindy and Jerry Shumate; son and daughter-in-law Terry and Dawn Galyean; brother and sister-in-law Scott and Jama Hash; sister-in-law Alene Hash all of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Fisher's Gap Cemetery with Pastor Ernie Smith officiating. There will be no visitation.
