Nancy Smith Combs age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Nancy was born on July 16, 1940 in Carroll County, Virginia to William and Rives Hill Smith.
She is survived by her cousins Darlene Sawyers; Mary Williams; Theresa Gunter; Doug Hill; David Hill; Hazel Massey; Elizabeth Stillwell; Shirley Cassell and Jane McKaughn; special friends Frances Ayers; Michael Ayers; Stephen Ayers; Bill Landreth; Bobby and Diann Bowers; Sue Watson; Darin and Susan Byrd; Donna Galyean and many others.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Randy Brewer and the Rev. Bill Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
