Myrtle Elizabeth Reeves age 98 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Reeves was born on July 7, 1919 in Wythe County, Virginia to William Henry and Myrtle Lindamood Fuller.
She is survived by her husband Joe R. Reeves, Sr. of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Joe R. Reeves, Jr. and Dorothy of Booneville, North Carolina; William P. Reeves and Sandra of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Kevin and Tracy Reeves; Brian and Lorrie Reeves all of Booneville, North Carolina; Jason Reeves of Charlotte, North Carolina; Loretta and Dan Adkins of Bilton, Virginia; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Carico and Pastor Mary Hessler officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
