Myrtle Louise Ayers Dillon age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday October 31, 2006 at Waddell Nursing Home. She was born on December 26, 1919 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Phillip and Ida Frost Ayers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Dillon. She is survived by nephews and their wife, Dave & Linda Newman; Ronnie & Betty Ayers and David & Barb Ayers. One great nephew and one grand niece also survive. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:30 AM in Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Chip Neely and Rev. Casey McKenna officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Twin County Hospice.
