Myra Leigh Smith's Obituary
Myra Leigh Smith, age 70, Hillsville, VA, previously of Alexandria, VA, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 in Hillsville.
Mrs. Smith was born in Roanoke, VA March 25, 1946.
Surviving is her mother, Jewel Melton, Galax, VA; sister & husband, Mina and Billy Wilson, Galax, VA; niece, Jennifer Short, and two great-nieces, Samantha Short and Stephanie Short, all of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel, Galax. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Richard Gregory. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2:30 until 3:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Galax, VA 24333 or the Local Humane Society.
