Mozelle A. Winesett age 93 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, May 13, 2024  in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mozelle was born on March 3, 1931 in Galax, Virginia She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Winesett and son-in-law John Dickenson.

Mozelle was a long-time member of Mt. Vale Church in Galax, Va. where she dedicated her time to church fund raisers and numerous other activities. She was also employed many years by First National Bank of Galax which would later be known as Wachovia Bank.

She is survived by one daughter Rhonda Dickenson of Independence, Virginia; sisters-in-law and spouses Betty and CE Frost; Iva and Roy Moser; Irene Winesett; brother-in-law Roger Winesett all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday May 16th at 12:00 noon in the Mt. Vale Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Lindquist, Jr. and the Rev. David Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Mt. Vale Methodist Church.
