Mozelle Shupe Baker, 100, of Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday September 15, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mrs. Baker was born in Grayson County, Virginia on July 10, 1918 to the late Cleve and Bessie Evans Shupe.

She is survived by her daughter Darlene Baker of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Miranda and Kenneth Holdaway of Woodlawn, Virginia and Timmy and Minda Dixon of Fries, Virginia; great grandchild Mason James Dixon; sister-in-law Gaye Shupe and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn Chapel at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Ronnie Brewer and Bryan Shupe officiating. Interment will follow at Monta-Vista Cemetery in Galax, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM Wednesday September 19 at Vaughan Guynn Funeral Home.
