Mona Lisa Sizemore age 48 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 5,2010 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mona was born on October 3, 1961 in Goldsboro, North Carolina to Joe Blake & Lola Marie Russell Gillespie.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Heather Church & Randy Sexton of Galax, Va.; sons John Adam Church, Jr. & Cody Lee Sizemore both of Galax, Va.; mother & step-father Lola Marie & Larry Evans of Glade Valley, N.C.; father Joe Blake Gillespie of Woodlawn, Va.; grandsons Little Randy Sexton; Ryan Sexton & Trenton Church; sister & brother-in-law Beth & Larry Sellers of Galax, Va.; brothers & sisters-in-law Michael & Sandra Gillespie of Woodlawn, Va.; Mark Anthony & Darlene Gillespie of Galax, Va.; several nieces & nephews; special friends Rodney Lundy & Tim Brown; special pet Nezzie Lou.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Cranberry. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
