Minnie Corinne Hodge Vaughan age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Vaughan was born in Mt. Airy, North Carolina on February 15, 1934 to Lonnie and Roxie White Hodge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Betty Brown and Patsy Lowe and one brother Luke Hodge.

She is survived by her husband Dean Vaughan of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Kathy Marsh and Dwain; Rebecca Vaughan-Funk and Brian all of Galax, Virginia; sons and  finacees': Robbie Vaughan and Teresa Anauo  of Galax, Virginia; Richard Vaughan and Penny Mooney of Max Meadows, Virginia; brother Wade Hodge of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren Katie Ali of Fort Hood, Texas; Brett Anauo of Sylvatus, Virginia; Jessica Alkaya of Germany; Roger Alley; Alex Vaughan-Funk all of Galax, Virginia; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Atkins Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Billings officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the faimily respectfully request donations be made to the Mt. Valley Hospice, 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, Virginia 24343.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Mt Valley Hospice for the care they provided fpr Mrs. Vaughan.
