Minnie Lou Nichols Patton age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Patton was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 27, 1927. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Claby B. Patton.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Joan and Jimmy Martin of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Jessica Gillespie and Ashley Gillespie; step-grandchildren Keith Martin and Heather Pyles; step-great-grandchildren Alex Pyles and Hylea Pyles; brother-in-law Mack Patton of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law June Nichols and Geneva Nichols of Galax, Va..
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 8,2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ballard Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Bartlett officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
