Minnie Brown Horsley age 98 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Wednesday November 1, 2006 at Beverly Blue Ridge Healthcare. She was born in Crumpler, North Carolina on March 6, 1908 to the late Emmett and Izabelle Callahan Brown. In addition to the parents she was preceded in death by her husband James E. Horsley, Jr.. She is survived by two sisters Ressie Willis of Roanoke, Va. and Gladys Thompson of New York; three nephews Steve Kyle of Newport, N.C.; Marvin Kyle of Washington, DC and Sammy Kyle of Columbus, Ohio; several other nieces & nephews and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held Saturday November 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bethany Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from ten until eleven Saturday morning before the funeral service.
