Mildred Louise Stephens' Obituary
Mildred Louise Stephens age 76 of Murphy, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Murphy Nursing Home.
Mrs. Stephens was born on July 31, 1934 in Livingston, Tn. to Earl and Verlie Redshirt Wisner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Emmett Ryder and Jim Donald Stephens.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Susan & Ron Gibson of Hampton, Va.; Kay Brown of Gallatin, Tennessee; sons and daughter-in-law Johnny Brown of Galax, Va.; David & Wanda Ryder of Dalton, Ga.; Jimmy Stephens of Murphy, N.C.; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Popes Knob Cemetery with Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 until 12:30 at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
