Mildred Lee Hill Payne age 89 of Conowingo, Maryland and formerly of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in the Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland.

Mrs. Payne was born in Fries, Virginia on September 23, 1922 to Charlie Miller Hill and Minnie Lee Williams Hill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edgar W. Payne.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her daughter Martha Joines; sons Joe Payne, Harrison Payne and Mike Payne; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Linkous officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
