Mildred Mabel Christley age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday September 10, 2021 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Christley was born on June 30, 1932 in Carroll County, Virginia to Clevie and Ethel Whittington Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Lee Christley.

She is survived by a sister Betty Christley; brothers Gleen Miller and Rhudy Miller all of Galax, Virginia; niece Jeanie Dye; nephews Greg Christley and Tony Christley; great-nieces Sarah Christley; Stephanie Dye-Brentwood and Cassie Christley.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Ronny Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
