Mildred Imogene Bartlett age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 16,2008 at Blue Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center. Mrs. Bartlett was born on June 9, 1929 in Wythe County, Va. to Roy & Bernice Bratton Wright. She is survived by a son Rex Bartlett of Stoneville, N.C.; sisters Phyllis Handy of Galax, Va.; Daisy Edwards of Pennsylvania; one grandson; several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 11:00 am in Monta Vista Cemetery with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from ten until eleven at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
