Michael Steven Crouse, 41, of Galax, Virginia passed away at his home, Friday, September 12, 2014. He was born December 5, 1972 in Mount Airy, North Carolina to Joan and Jerry Crouse. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emmitt Farmer, Lawrence and Juanita Crouse, Clayton and Iva Martin, Gilmer and Norene Wilson and uncle James Ray Farmer.

Michael is survived by his father and step mother, Jerry and Linda Crouse of Galax, Virginia; mother and step father Joan and Alan Martin of Fries, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Kim and Rick Isom of Mooresville, North Carolina; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mark and Kim Crouse of Woodlawn, Virginia; Jamie and Amy Barnes of Galax, Virginia; Josh and Lorian Crouse of Galax, Virginia; Christopher Martin of Hillsville, Virginia; maternal grandmother Anan Farmer of Ennice, North Carolina. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 4:00 pm in the Haven of Rest Bible Church Cemetery, Edmonds Road, Galax, Virginia with Doug Fleming and Keith Ledford officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
