Michael "Mike" Duane Martin

Michael “Mike” Duane Martin passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4th, 2026. 

Mike was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved himself. Outside of his family life, he found great joy in spending time at his river lot, where he enjoyed the outdoors and making memories with family and friends. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patty; his daughter, Valeria, and her husband Darren; his grandchildren, Sierra, Bryant and wife Abbie, Mason and wife Catherine, and Emilee; his great-grandchildren, Aria, Amara, Miles, and Anderson; his brother, Anthony “T” Martin, and several special nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Darrell Martin officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.  

Mike leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by his family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, the impact he made on the lives of those around him will live on.
