Michael Edward McGee age 63 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Michael was born in Martinsville, Virginia on August 12, 1959 to Eugene and Lillian Gertrude Nelson McGee.

He is survived by his daughter Heather McGee of Charlotte, North Carolina; son Robert McGee of Martinsville, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Susan Lynn and Brad Case of Mayodan, North Carolina; Penny and William Martin of Martinsville, Virginia; several special cousins; special friend Phyllis Roberts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan- Guynn Chapel with Pastor Casey McKenna officiating.. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
