Michael Lee Lester, Sr. age 50 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his home.

Michael was born on May 1, 1965 in Buchanan County, Virginia to Cecil David and Florence Baker Lester.

He is survived by his wife Sandy Lester of Grundy, Virginia; children Michael Lee Lester, Jr. and Michelle Leigh Lester both of Richlands, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Betty and Gary James of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law David Lester of Tazewell, Virginia; James and Daria Lester of Marion, Virginia; Stanley Wayne Lester of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friends Roger and Donna Burnette.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Lester Family Cemetery in Beckley, West Virginia with Uncle George Baker officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
