Michael Ray Gallimore, 61, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Fries Virginia passed away suddenly Thursday, September 3, 2015. Michael was born July 9, 1954 in Galax, Virginia to Charlie J. Gallimore and the late Shirley Ring Gallimore. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Nora Craver.

Michael is survived by his wife Wilma Gallimore of Winston-Salem; sons and daughters-in-law: Dana and Leighann Gallimore of Woodlawn, Virginia, Lane and Erica Angel of Bristol, Virginia; Father and special friend Charlie J. Gallimore and Lois Marie Carico of Fries, Virginia; Step Daughter Linda Bowman of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; step son and wife:: Eddie and Teresa Hackett, Jr. and son Grayson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina: special friends Buck and Gina Blanton also of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren and two nieces April Craver and Tina Roach.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Greg Carico officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening (September 5, 2015) from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
