Michael Tracy Bowers age 49 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at his home.

Michael was born in Galax, Virginia on December 24, 1970 to Samuel Jefferson and Kitty Sue Livesay Bowers. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Jeffery Johnny Bowers.

He is survived by his daughter Skyler Joceyln Paige Bowers of Roanoke, Virginia; mother Kitty Sue Bowers of Galax, Virginia; fiance' and special caregiver Connie Sumner of Galax, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Greg Edwards of Hillsville, Virginia; sister-in-law Julia Rippey Bowers of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Bailey and Greg Edwards (brother-in-law) officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
