Michael Christopher Barker age 25 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Ivanhoe, Virginia.
Michael was born on May 24, 1986 in Galax, Virginia to Rudolph and Tammy Burris Barker.
In addition to his father Junior and step-mother Jennifer Barker of Galax, Virginia, Michael is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law Valerie Barker and Pedro Sanchez of Galax, Virginia; Brittany Roach and Joseph Laspina of St. Louis, Missouri; Destiny England; Brittani Stoneman and Brandi Stoneman all of Galax, Virginia; brother Samuel Barker of Galax, Virginia; nieces and nephew
Kaileigh Brooke; Shawn; Rosa; Meya and Ailyna; several aunts and uncles; several cousins.
A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Greg Goodson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
