Michael Allen Williams' Obituary
Michael Allen Williams, age 62, Ivanhoe, VA, passed away Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013 at the Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville, VA.
Mr. Williams was born Oct. 13,1951 in Carroll County, VA to Therron B. and Mary K. Barber Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hicks Williams and three sisters.
He is survived by a daughter and fiancé, Emily Williams and Stacey Key; grandson, Cayden Michael Robert Lee Key; sisters, Angie Bowers, Martinsville, VA, Peggy Shepard, Roanoke, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Roger and Carolyn Williams, Fries, VA, Jack & Virginia Williams, Fries, VA and Frank Williams, Greensboro, NC; two special nieces, Heather Clontz and Bella Martin. Several other nieces and nephews, also, survive.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013 in the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church. Officiating will be Matt Linkous and Chuck Edwards.
