Mella Irene Hill age 100 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Hill was born in Carroll County, Virginia on November 1,1915 to Earl and Flora Roberts Sizemore. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Ray Hill; two sisters Pauline Lineberry and Vera Kirby; three brothers Clint Sizemore; Paul Sizemore and Barney Sizemore.
She is survived by one sister Ilene Eastridge of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends Pooge and Faye Criner; Jill and Sunny Williams.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12 noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Bill Linkous and Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
