Melchor William Barrientos, 50 days old infant son of Fidel and Samantha Barrientos, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in the Twin County Regional Hospital. Melchor was born June 15, 2015 in Wytheville, Virginia.

In addition to his parents he is survived by four sisters Marisol Barrientos, Ruth Barrientos, Carolina Barrientos, Elia Barrientos; one brother Fidel Barrientos, Jr. all of the home; maternal grandparents Sharon and Norman Williams of Fries, Virginia; paternal grandmother Maria Jaimes of Galax; paternal grandfather Melchor Barrientos of Galax; maternal great grandparents Helen Spears of Fries, Virginia; and Betty & Bill Combs of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; half sister Jasmine Barrientos and half brother Ethan Barrientos both of Woodlawn, Virginia and Uncle, Travis Williams.

Graveside service and burial will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Pastor Angie Lineberry and Camello Caidenas officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
