Melba Rebecca Mabe's Obituary
Melba Rebecca Sharp Mabe age 85 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Mabe was born on July 27, 1925 in Carroll County, Virginia to Walter and Pearl Lineberry Sharp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gray W. Mabe; daughter Stephanie Gail Mabe; son Devon Gray Mabe and brother Clise Sharp.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Ann Mabe and Thomas (Tom) Farthing of Woodlawn, Virginia; granddaughter Sarah Jean Farthing; sister and brother-in-law Louise and Everette Edwards of Galax, Virgina; brother and sister-in-law Wilson and Eula Sharp of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister-in-law Erma Sharp of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 1:30 PM at the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Theron Phillips; Rev. Cas Horton; Rev. Zack Royer and Rev. Angie Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 AM until service time at the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church.
