Melba Logene Lineberry age 92 of Fries, Virginia passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Mrs. Lineberry was born on July 4, 1932 in Grayson County, Virginia to Walter Howard and Hazel Juanita Anders Burcham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Allen Lineberry; daughter-in-law Sharon Lineberry; brothers Lonnie Burcham; Otis Burcham; Swanson Burcham and Rex Burcham.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Billy Lanter of Fries, Virginia; son and special friend Wayne Lineberry and Pam Goins  of Boonville, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Vanessa Burcham of Fredericksburg, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Novella and Gerald Coleman; Joyce Isom; Shirley and Roy Hill all of Fries, Virginia; sisters-in-law Lowana Burcham and Peggy Burcham;  two grandchildren and spouses Doug and Heather Lanter; Brandon and Amy Lanter;  three great-grandchildren Andy Lanter; Keegan Lanter and Abby Lanter;  several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Cliffview Church of God with Pastor Jackie Poe and Benji Lineberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Cliffview Church of God.
