McGinnis Carl (Mack) Bedsaul age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Bedsaul was born on January 14, 1929 in Carroll County, Virginia to Carl & Pearl Cox Bedsaul.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Fannin Bedsaul of Galax, Va.; son Mackie Bedsaul of Galax, Va; step-daughter Doris Maynard of Pikeville, Ky.; step-son & his wife John & Lana Dotson of Clifton Forge, Va.; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Oakland United Methodist Church with Rev. John Ousley; Rev. Randy Morris and Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior the funeral service. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Oakland United Methodist Church Building Fund.
