Maxine Allen Merry age 76 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Merry was born on February 3, 1934 in Blacksburg, Virginia to Melvin and Patria Smith Allen.
She is survived by her husband Ted Merry of Hillsville, Va.; daughters Lisa Vickers of Rock Hill, S.C.; Lori Clark of Cana, Va.; grandchildren Hannah Graves, Ashley Merry, Aaron Vickers and Josh Hunt; great-grandchildren Keona Merry, Christopher Merry and Hunter Holland; sisters Imogene Malone of Fries, Va.; Welcome Ciofalo of Debarry, Fl.; brother Sheldon Allen of Wytheville, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Chaplain John Blessing and Chaplain Ted Merry officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
