Maxine M. Hall age 75 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Hall was born on December 16, 1933 in Grayson County, Virginia to Lester & Ettie Pugh Vaughan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Hall and son Ricky Hall. She is survived by her grandson Allen Hall of Kentucky; sisters & brother-in-law Beatrice & Clyde Alley of Fries, Va.; Coleen Hiatt of Martinsville, Va.; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
