Theresa Maxine Boggs age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday June 30, 2021 at her home.

Maxine was born in Galax, Virginia on March 14, 1945 to Bert Theo and Naomi Worrell Hines.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Chris and Karen Porter of Hillsville, Virginia; daughter Kerri Porter of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Angelica Porter, Phillip Porter and Allison Porter; two sisters Susan Chappell of Aiken, South Carolina; Kathy Alley of Independence, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and fiance' Joe Snyder from Galax, Virginia.

There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be  made to the Mountain Valley  Hospice, 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, Virginia 24343.
