Mavis Juanita Adkins' Obituary
Mavis Juanita Adkins age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Adkins was born on February 17, 1924 in Carroll County, Va. to Walter and Cora Lineberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James A. Adkins.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Kavanaugh of Gilbert, Arizona and Carol Veith of Bellview, Florida and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Fiorini officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Shannon & Lisa Lowe, 868 Vista Road, Independence, Va..
