Maudie Regina Goodman Horton age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Horton was born on September 6, 1930 in West Virginia to Robert and Minnie White Goodman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Rush Horton.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rhonda Horton and William Tommy Jones; son and daughter-in-law William Robert (Bobby) and Angie Horton all of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren and spouses Katheryn (Katie) and Mark Miller; Nikki and Zac O'Brien.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
