Maude Ella Funk age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Funk was born on March 13, 1927 in Grayson County, Virginia to Stephen and Mallie Roberts Mason.

She is survived by her daughter Jill Williams of Fries, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Dewey Gayle Funk of Wytheville, Virginia; Clint and Beverly Funk of Galax, Virginia; brother Grady Mason of Fries, Virginia; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Summerfield United Methodist Church with Ricky Bedwell and the Rev. Jeffery Baumgarner officiating. Burial will follow in the Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Summerfield United Methodist Church.
