Marzell "M.J." Junior Funk's Obituary
Marzell Junior Funk better known as M.J. Funk age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mr. Funk was born in Grayson County, Virginia on June 1, 1935 to Marzell and Emma Patton Funk.
He is survived by his wife Burline Funk; son Mark Funk both of Galax, Virginia; granddaughters Allison Funk and Lura Funk; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery at Fries, Virginia. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 Pm prior to the funeral service, Sunday.
