Mary Frances Woods age 71 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at her home.

She was born in McDowell County, West Virginia on August 24, 1944 to Elmer and Helen Wooten Hankins.

She is survived by her children and spouses Robert and Michelle Eller of Marion, Virginia; Teresa Graham of Dover, Delaware; Jamie Underwood of Bel-Air, Maryland; siblings and spouses Marie Smith of Galax, Virginia; Linda and Larry Bennethum of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania; Carol and Dave Lammey of Galax, Virginia; Joanne and Raymond Bennett of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania; Charlotte Sterling-Lapp of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania; Roger and Sharon Reeves of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania; Curtis and Joyce Reeves of Honeybrook, Pennsylvania; Charles and Vickie Reeves of Galax, Virginia; Bobby and Michelle Reeves of Northeast, Maryland; Stevie and Michelle Reeves of Kirkwood, Maryland; John and Beth Colburn of Florida; Larry and Carol Montaine of Willis, Virginia; Bill Hankins of Kentucky; Elmer Hankins, Jr of West Virginia; Betty and Russell Holt of Kentucky; Margaret Ann Byrd of West Virginia; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Angie Lineberry officiating.
Burial will follow in the Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
