Mary Sue Wilson age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Winchester, Virginia on June 24, 1928 to Walter and Clara Burcham Edmonds. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin W. Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Kaye Felts of Roanoke, Virginia; Cynthia and Thomas Brandt of Dublin, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Brian and Heather Felts; Amber and Bill Yoder; April Brandt; :Jennifer and Rufus Shumate; great-grandchildren Woodrow Yoder; Ada Yoder and Mollie Shumate; adopted grandchildren Rachel Pinckney; Abigail Mabus;  Rebekah Mabus; special niece Ann Dillon; special nephews and spouses Brent and Brenda Edmonds; Jimmy and Brenda Edmonds; Buford and Mildred Wilson; James and Marion Wilson; special friends Julie and Dan Mabus.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
