Mary Lou Taylor Miller age 84 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County, North Carolina on August 5, 1941 to Roscoe Aleck and Elizabeth Clyde Miller Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Miller; son Danny Miller; two sisters Doris Miller and Stella Lephew; two brothers Darrell Taylor and Earl Taylor.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Doug and Winona Miller of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Chenoa Montgomery (Shawn); Hix Miller (Ingle); Lindsay Oliver (Ryan) ten great -grandchildren; Alexis, Thomas, Tess, Sean, Holly, Daniel, Taven, Milli, Maeli; and Finnigan;  sister and brother-in-law Linda and Carlos Weaver of Lansing, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Jeff Combs officiating. Burial will  follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
