Mary Ann Tate Waller age 82 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 252015 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 2, 1933 to Arnold and Jeanette Willard Tate.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Emily Jane Potts and Charles Lovelace of Kingsport, Tennessee; Marti Regina and Paul Reynolds; Bonnie Jean Simpson; Joan King Hayes; David Lee Waller all of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Mary Ellen and Doug Blackburn of Jonesville, North Carolina; John William Bond; David Timothy and Pamela J. Bond; Donald Kent Bond; Larry Gale Tate all of Fries, Virginia; sisters Emily Faye Monahan of Wytheville, Virginia; Betty Mae Belyea of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; brothers Donald Tate of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Obie Tate of High Point, North Carolina; twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:30 PM in the Stevens Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Watson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
