Mary Sue Murphy age 70 of Ennice, North Carolina passed away Sunday May 9, 2021 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mary was born in Ennice, North Carolina on March 12, 1951 to Clyde Junior and Dorothy Mae Grey Murphy.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law Patsy Ann and Hector Gabriel Velez of Cerritos, California; Carol Carpenter of Galax, Virginia;  brother and sister-in-law Larry and Velinda Murphy of Ennice, North Carolina; nieces and spouse Crystal Coleman of Galax, Virginia;  Kayla and Matt Hendrix of Sparta, North Carolina; nephews and spouses Justin and Terri Velez; Vincent and Vanessa Velez;  Brandon and Rachel Coleman all of California; Eric Murphy of Ennice, North Carolina; very special friends Penny Catterton.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Jeff Carpenter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Saddle Mountain Cemetery in Ennice, North Carolina. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service.

Mary was better known to her friends as Weasel Murphy.
