Mary Ann Youngblood Stanley, 73, passed way Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab, Independence, Virginia. Mary was born March 29, 1941 to the late Harry Virgil and Virgie Ethel Ayers Youngblood in Grayson County, Virginia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Jackson "Jack" Stanley.

She is survived by her daughter and granddaughter: Cheri and Sunny Stanley of Fries, Virginia; three sons and daughters-in-law: Ralph and Judy Stanley of Memphis, Tennessee; Jason and Leslie Stanley of Fries, Virginia; David Stanley and special friend Shelley Fielder of Galax, Virginia; two sisters Frieda Youngblood of Galax, Virginia, Beulah Youngblood of Fries, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Victor and Myra Youngblood; Kenneth Youngblood; Dale Youngblood; and Charles and Gayle Youngblood all of Fries, Virginia; Carl and Nancy Youngblood of Key West, Florida. Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Stevens Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sheepgrove Road, Fries, Virginia. Sam Burnette and Billy Burnette will be officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
