Mary Joy Robinson Frost age 77 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Frost was born on October 2, 1938 in Jackson County, Kentucky to Elisha Albert and Harriet Lilly McQueen Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Timothy Howard Todd.

She is survived by her husband Pastor Roger Lee Frost of Galax, Virginia; daughter Pamela Gail Frost Todd of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law Jeffrey Lee Frost of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; Joel Patrick and Kristen Wood Frost of Roanoke, Virginia; Christopher Elisha and Sylvia Sexton Frost of Galax, Virginia; sister Georgia Robinson Hunter of Jackson County, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren and great—grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April2, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Valley View Baptist Church with Dr. Ronny Harrison and Rev. Doug Halsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state at the church on Saturday from 11:00 A M until time for the funeral service. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
