Mary Louise Reid Moss, age 86, died unexpectedly after a brief illness Christmas Day, December 25, 2023 in Moses Cone Hospital. She was born February 12, 1937 in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late Garland and Louise Reid.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Julia Elizabeth Reid. Mary is survived by her husband Muncy Samuel Moss sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth Randall Moss (Terri) and Paul Samuel Moss (Wendy). Also surviving are grandchildren Andy Moss, Nicole Benson, Malyssa Moss; great-grandchildren Storm Moss, Skye Moss, Alex Benson, Alli Benson; sister Faye Erwin; brother and sister-in-law Edward Reid (Pam); and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She made everyone around her feel loved and appreciated. It was always a joy to be with her. Mary will be missed by her family and friends who loved her immensely.

A graveside service will be held Saturday December 30,2023 at 2PM at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Fries with Pastor Lee Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
